His IQ is above the Geneius level. If the Genius level was at the top of the Botle HIs would have blown off the cork out of the Bottle.
However his wrting about the History of time was very Brief.

Well jtsen,let me tell you that i took an IQ test earlier today.
117.I don't know if its good or bad or average.But i have got a brain & i can use i to solve the problems that crop up on a daily basis. Would you rather be You,or would you rather be mr.Hawkins? Having an I.Q seperates us from the animals.Being a "genius" seperates us from humans!?

I prefer the great mans answer from a 2004 interview with the New York Times:
Interviewer: "What is your I.Q.? "
Hawking: "I have no idea. People who boast about their I.Q. are losers."
If I had to guess, I'd say about 160 - substansially more than mine!

I read somewhere he thought IQ tests were for sad people - but then I read elsewhere he has an IQ of 197.

I would suspect that it's quite high but I very much doubt whether Stephen Hawking know what it is himself.
