The Chargers should win, Grossman is terrible and will cost the Bears the game. But the Chargers have Norvy and that is not a good thing...

Although I would love to see the Bears win, I won't be disappointed if they lose. This is an away game against a very good team. Plus, it's the first game of the season, so I expect some sloppy play by both teams.
There are going to be a lot of key matchups, but I think the Bears O line, specifically LT John Tait, needs to step up and give Grossman some protection. If this happens, then I think Grossman has a chance to throw on this Chargers secondary, which was the weak link of this defense last year, though the unit was strong all around. If not, Grossman will have a lot of pressure on him all day. This is where he needs to show that he's matured and can be a legitimate NFL QB. LT will be LT, and the Bears D will be stingy as always.
My head says Chargers 17-13, but my heart says Bears 21-10. Either way, it's a great opening weekend matchup.

I would go SD. You mentioned your worst enemy in Rex. He isnt very good! Maybe it will all come with time!? Appreciate the Defense you have though and the fact that your division is not very good! The Bears will still make the Playoffs and again could go far, being that the NFC is so wide open! I just think the Chargers are a better team, and again the AFC does hold the dominance! I am not an AFC fan by any means!!

First of all the Bears win close game 23-20 thanks to the defense. Grossman will be much improved over last year he needed the work and watching in the preseason you can tell he has made some improvements. There are still moments of being unable to hold on to the ball but that will come with more playing time. So look for him to have a better year in yards and completions. Touchdowns are going to be higher also and less fumbles with that making him a solid player this year.

Da Bears!
Rex is inconsistent, but the defense and the great play of those around him can make up for it. Now they all understand that they can't depend on him for a win so they step up.
The Colts lost, so will the Chargers, as long as Rex can keep a handle on the ball. If he hands the ball over to the Chargers nothing can stop his self destruction. Greise for QB, NOW!

Chargers beat the Bears 24-13. I like how people say that the Bears can win if Grossman can hold onto the ball. What has he ever done to make you people think thats actually possible??

As long as Grossman doesn't have one of his single-digit quarterback rating games, the Bears should win. People try to downplay the turnover in the Chargers coaching staff, but it *has* to have a negative effect for at least the first few games.

What a matchup...LT vs the Bears D...Chargers have a nice D, too, though, so San Diego wins 17-7.
