Everyone's pregnancy goes different, so for you personally, it's hard to say. In general, you'll have mood swings, you'll be really hungry (lay off caffeine, fried foods, and sodas), you'll first feel the baby kick around 18-20 weeks, you'll be so impatient waiting for your first ultrasound, and be slightly more anxious than normal, since it is a very special thing happening for the first time. Good luck. =)

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!
Ok, now, if I sat here and listed all the crazy things that happen to your body while you're pregnant, it would take me years. Still, I remember feeling the way you're feeling, and so, my advice is to go and spend a day at Borders, or any bookstore, in the Pregnancy/Child Rearing section. This is what I did, and I learned so much.
I suggest you buy the book Your Pregnancy: Week by Week. It was extremely helpful to me when I was pregnant with my daughter. It helps you follow your pregnancy through each and every week and may be extra helpful to you as you are wondering what is happening to your body! :)
Good Luck! And congrats again!

the tiredness! My first tri I almost felt drugged. I would take a shower and then have to lie down before I could get myself dressed, thats how bad it was. Also, your stomach might grow hair on it! And your nose might get really stuffed up. breathe right strips help a little with that. Oh and buy yourself a body pillow, a big one made for pregnancy. It will be a lifesaver as you get further along. They are a bit pricey, but you will be able to sleep, which is so worth the investment. I will post a link to the one I have, I like the shape because I toss and turn alot, and with this pillow I dont have to reposition it to switch sides. Congrats and good luck!

You will think you are out of your mind. You will get jealous for no reason... You will be tired and say silly things and not be able to remember simple words. You will be moody, you will cry for no reason. You will crave the most ridiculous things.
Go to the library and check out the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting." It will tell you something new for each month of pregnancy and answer a lot of your questions.

Always be near a bathroom or food. Both starving hunger and an urge to pee RIGHT NOW can hit you when you least expect it!
Also know where there are the better mall bathrooms. For instance Gap Kids and Pottery Barn kids often have great ones. Maternity stores also sometimes do too.

Go buy the book Pregnancy Sucks. It's not only very informative on all the good, bad and ugly stuff associated with pregnancy, it's also hilarious! I was laughing so much while reading it, my husband got intrigued and read it as well.

congratulations!! it's different for different people, but i can tell you that i did not expect to be so tired!! i would sit down for my lunch break and fall asleep in my chair, or go to bed at 7:00...also, i was pretty much an emotional wreck for a couple of months....fortunately i have a very understanding husband and i can tell you it helps a lot to have someone to lean on...i also did not expect to have as much cramping as i did, and it scared me half to death!! but my doctor said it's normal as long as you are not bleeding or passing out from the pain...best of luck to you...i'm sure you will do just great!!!
