If I have a ring valued at 12k what could I sell it for at a jewllers?

Take it to real jeweler...NOT a pawn shop. You might get maybe 1/3 of what it is worth.

Have you had the ring appraised? You should...and keep a copy of the appraisal for yourself.

Maybe a couple thousand if you get lucky. But ask a couple jewelers, not the people here.
