Are you sure you wrote those correctly - if you eliminate the last three, the amount is 20 too much.

(I was looking for combinations on the cents figures that make up .88)

No easy way. I tried all 4096 combinations, and never got the sum you wanted. The closest I got was within $20, when you sum the first 9 and eliminate the last 3.

By the way, that last number looks out of place, its so much smaller than the rest.

Take the sum of the numbers. Then subtract 2478617 from it. The number remaining must be the number you should eliminate from the sum.
