Exactly what honor are you talking about sir? The fact that this an unjustified war… The fact that over 500,000 innocent people have died? The fact that our nation is sinking into debt? After six years, what do we have to show? President Bush’s failed benchmarks? And after all of this you cannot accept the fact that your party has made a mistake and you plan to continue it? How many more people need to die?

That honor thing is an appeal to the "oohrah Marines types". Too bad for him that Ron Paul receives the most campaign donations from the military of all the candidates. Honor is not more important than life! This is not ancient Japan! Its odd that a baptist preacher (Huckabee) would hold honor higher than life itself.

And the 500,000 figure includes all loss of life over this "War on Terror". Afghanistan, Iraq, USA, etc. Military and civilians both. Ron Paul is the only one who makes sense.

I am sorry that you are so misinformed about Iraq and the position the US is in over there. Perhaps if you actually spoke to the people there, and knew some of their stories, you would understand that you have been fed a complete snow job by the media. PLEASE don't be a mindless follower of media propoganda, actually investigate. Research the situation and I am certain as an informed, intelligent citizen you will see the truth and be as concerned as the rest of us are. Iraq is a country that is in transition and is in a learning stage at this point. Your child is not potty trained in one try. It takes time.

Thank God Paul was there to ask how many lives his "honor" is worth.

I too lost respect for Huckabee last night.

What honor?

America is hated around the world and about 70% of the US population is in rebellion against everything that America is currently doing.

Ron Paul is the last chance to restore that honor that was once ours.

How about the honor of finishing what we started? What about all the Iraqis that have a mess on their hands because of the radicals over there. American doesn't cut and run!

BTW, most of the innocent people you mention WERE NOT KILLED BY AMERICANS! Put the blame where it belongs, dear!

I lost a lot of respect for Mike Huckabee over this. This is admitting that as a leader, he would make decisions not based on what's right or wrong... but what he deems honorable. Too bad.

I was wondering what honor he wants to defend. Honor of making a FUBAR out of Iraq?

In feudal Japan, when a high ranking Samurai warrior makes a major mistake or loses a decisive battle, he would, in order to keep his Honor, commit "seppuku", or a ritual suicide to prove that he would even give up his life in order to defend his Honor.

I would like to see that kind of Honor in the American leaders.

500,000???? this mythical number keeps getting larger. Who is doing most of the killing?? not the US. It is Al Qaeda in Iraq. Do you think that if we leave, that Iraq will just level out and be a great place? ,,,,NO, that is a laugh. War will spill into the streets faster than you can say, "peacenick".
This internal war will soon bring in Iran, Syria, Turkey and Saudi. They will all be fighting each other for a piece of the pie. Do you know who will be paying for that at the pump?///

You will. Jobs will be lost and we will be much worse off than today. I have been to Iraq, have you? Let the volunteers do their job. That is why we are here. Go back to starbucks and quit complaining.
