I am white but she is black. I like her but I don't know what my family will say about us being together. I really like her though.

IYour happiness is about you and your decisions. if you live your life for your parents and to make everyone else happy - you are not an individual. If you like her - theres a reason. If you don't try - you'll always regret it. If your family loves you - they have to realize that your You and you need to do what makes you happy. Isn't that what family is about?

No worries, older generations need to rethink their ways if they have a problem with this kind of thing.
If it gets serious let them know. I know a friend whos in pretty much the same situation, the family tend to accept whats inevitably going to happen.

why should colour matter?
if she has the personality and looks, which you think is eligable for you then go for it.
Sure parents are there to help guide your way through life. But you can't help who you fall for neither can they. Talk to you mom and dad about this hear what they have to say on it, although it will only be an opinion not an order. GO FOR IT.

African American women are great to be married/commited to, and have nice large families. I think you would love being with her, so go ahead you have to be happy. Forget your familys thoughts on this. Live for yourself and please yourself, if not you will live in heartbreak and pain all your life.

The best wishes for the both of you.

Dude, Look we are all one race, the human race ! The heart matters most, not the color of a person.

What matters most is whether you can get beyond worrying about what other people think. If Not it won't work out.
