A new born is not in the mother's body anymore...

A fetus, however, generally stays in the uterus... unless you have complications in your pregnancy where the fertlized egg fails to travel to the uterus and stays in the ovaries. I don't know the term for that tho... forgetful me.

First of all, a newborn is a child that has just been born. Generally, they stay with their parents after spending a day or two in the hospital.
But I think you're trying to ask about the female reproductive system. The ovaries contain ovum or eggs. Every month, one of your ovaries releases an ovum. The ovum travels down the fallopian tube where if there is any sperm they may get fertilized. Once fertilized, the ovum travels to the uterus where it will grow and develop over the next 9 months or so. When the baby is ready to be born, it is delivered through the vagina (or if you have a c-section, your doctor cut through your abdominal wall and uterus to get the baby out). Then, you go home with your newborn.

The egg is released from the ovary, moves into the fallopian tube and down into the uterus. If it is fertilized by the sperm, then it will attach to the uterine wall and begin to grow. At times, the fertilized egg can become attached inside the tube and not travel successfully into the uterus. This is called tubal pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy and can cause the tube to rupture and be very dangerous. However, normal fertilized eggs grow inside the mother's uterus (also called womb.)

The baby grows and stays in the uterus. Not the ovaries. If the baby is in the ovaries you will have some major problems.

A fetus that develops normally will develop in the uterus. An ectopic pregnancy occurs when the baby develops outside the uterus, usually in the fallopian tubes, but it occurs in the ovaries, stomach areas or cervix on rare occasions.

What do you mean stay?? Do you mean where the fetus grows??? Cause a newborn is a born child and they stay in the hospital til they can come home with you. I guess I'm just confused by the question....

Unless the baby is in the uterus it is considered ectopic and will have to be terminated. Without termination you face possible tubal rupture which will affect your ability to conceive again.

Can you try asking that question again? It is unclear what you want to know. I'll try to help you if you explain a bit better.
