Water, H2O, dihyrogen oxide, is a liquid at room temperature. It is clear, colorless, tasteless and odorless. It is called the universal solvent. It can absorb more heat than any other naturally occurring material. Its gas state also exists at room as water vapor in the air. The solid state melts at 0 degrees C, liquid boils at 100 degrees C, at sea level. Needed for all living things.
