Go back to America & get divorced there. As you both are Americans & must have married according to American matrimonial laws & there exist no provision in any of the Indian Matrimonial laws nor there is any common matrimonial law concering foreigners married in their countries (with regard to their matrimonial dispute)that will guide you for divorce in India under any of these, the only option for you is to move back to America & file a divorce petition in the appropriate family court there & get a decree of divorce. Had you both got married here in India according to any form of marriage you could seek divorce according to any of those matrimonial laws applicable to that form of marriage.

If you are in the military then go through a jag. If not you can find a American attorney and start the process by mail.

U should file your petition before the court in America. u can engage an attorney for the same.if ur husband is a rich person u r goingto be benefitted by divorcing him.

you would have to take to an attorney in the US, or call the American Embassy in India and ask them what would be the correct procedure for it. Good luck.
