I agree about the meaninglessness and stupidity of the question. Much the way I feel about this question's counterpart.

But look at all these great answers!

It is just opposite of meaning of life.

Life has no meaning when we have no consideration for...
Human Values, Kindness, Non violence, Truth, Ethics, and Principles.

I'll look at all the great answers after I try to write something of my own, as usual. And as usual I come in really late!

And folderol like that is NOT the meaning of life, nor is war and greed and all those biggies; nor pruning the roses too far back inthe middle of summer as well, or setting a house on fire, or giving out the b.s. like I'm beginning to spout.

Like boo-hoo over little things that happened in my distant past. sorry... Death is still included in the meaning of life of course, but misery is hard to understand... it's all relative, I'm beginning to think. Confusion sets in and I sign off--good luck. I just can't "get" this question...it rolls right off.

Nothing is (this means that nothingness is also a meaning of life). For what ever i tell you, I must use words, and I think through the use of internal dialogue (words). You can only think from experience/memory (try inventing a COMPLETELY new sense, and describe it. You can't, because all senory detail that we have involve our current senses, meaning you can't use them for a COMPLETELY NEW sense). Whatever I experience or have in my memory happened/ existed in reality (even if it was a thought). Anything that happened or existed or that i know/experienced is part of life/my life. So anything i can possibly say has to do with life and my life. So how can someone even answer this (by that i mean actualy telling you wat ISN'T the meaning of life, not that there is nothing that isn't the meaning of life), assuming there is one, which is also unlikely.

The meaning of life isn't trying to figure out the meaning of life.

First, the search for a meaning. Then after finding one, if at all and if exists, then still finding that there was no meaning before I found one.

I mean, if you have found one, then there is no opposite for it. It fulfills everything for you. Everything around you would seemingly have a meaning in them. Therefore, nothing opposite to search for.

What isn't the meaning of Life, would be nothing because without Life, there isn't any meaning.
