Hi- I have a 4 year old son, and recently (2 weeks ago) came off the depo shot to "see what happens". I have heard that it can take up to a year to get prego, but as of 5 days ago, my back is killing me, I feel dizzy and I have the slightest inclination to barf each morning for the last 2 days. As of 3 days ago, it occured to me that I'm craving the exact same foods that I did with my son, and I keep wondering if I am coming down with a cold. My tummy is uncomfortable, and bloated and with unusual cramps. Since I have not had a period in 4 years I wonder if my body is simply readjusting, or if I COULD BE PREGNANT already? I don't feel like myself at all, and I believe I might be manifesting baby symptoms, but I am missing the sore breasts....I remember that was my biggest symptom with my first pregnancy--what do you all think?

You can get pregnant as soon as that 3 or 4 month protection period is over. I was supposed to get my shot one month, but I didn't come in until 3 or 4 weeks later. When I came in to have the shot, they didn't give me a pregnancy test because of that 'oh you don't get pregnant right away' nonsense. I guessed 2 wks. later that I was pregnant (6 wks. pregnant). That a bunch of bologna. Take a test.

I bet it's just your body adjusting to the change in hormones. It wouldn't hurt to take a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks if the symptoms persist- it may be awhile before your periods start back on a normal basis, so you might miss it just b/c of the hormones, not b/c of pregnancy. I got pregnant about 3 months after coming off Depo, so it doesn't necessarily take a year.

hi I had 2 photographs of Depo which ought to have worn off in Aug 06. I even have in basic terms purely gotten a era which replaced into in basic terms 3 days in length. I had sorting out completed which has shown that I had stopped ovulating (maximum possibly a facet results of Depo as I even have 2 different infants). I even have purely finished my first around of clomid and am waiting to be sure if I even have conceived. wait and notice as i do no longer think of you will conceive at recent. prepare your physique for being pregnant. you'll be in a committed and lasting relationship without marriage. single couples could be purely as reliable and able to strengthen a baby nicely. you do no longer choose slightly paper.

generally you dont show signs of pregnancy soooo quickly.
it's probly your body adjusting to not being on the shot anymore.
call your obgyn and run the symptoms by them. it's probly nothing.
ps not to be a dork- you never mentioned having sex... sooo how would you have been able to get preg?
