If Im in the kitchen and I just mopped the floor and it was really good food maybe...but when it comes to my kids.. I wouldnt dare pick up anything fallen on the floor and give it to them..

However if I drop the food on like carpet..or sumthing..no I dont eat it..lol

hey you know they did a study and the study showed that food hitting the floor is actually ok to eat for up to a minute on the floor, so I say waste not, want not.

I generally go by the 3 second rule. I'll pick it up, wipe it off, and eat it (unless it's meat) as long as the floor is clean.

depends what kind of food item is it and where is it drop like if i drop a chip on my hard wood floor(that is clean) I pick it up and eat it but if i drop a taco on carpet i say forget about it!!

The 5-second rule applies to all food that accidentally hits the floor. Unless it's just a bloody mess, then the dog can have it.

When I drop M & M's, I pick them up, dust them off, and eat them. Regular food goes right in the trash.
