Let's face it. Unlike Republicans, the Democrat party is NOT against Gay Marriage. They take moderate stances on this issue only for political reasons. The Hateful GOP actually takes issue with this and wants to ban gay marriage altogether. Do you agree? Once again, which candidate do you support?

Dear Very Large Fart.
As of right now I'm a card caring member of the Democratic party. However when that curtain is closed I will happily vote for whoever is willing to support LGBT equality. For that reason i have on more than one occasion voted for a Green Party candidate.
Hugs,
PennyAnn

I'm a gay guy, and I will support either Rudy Guiliani and/or Fred Thompson.

Democrats make me sick, I'll never vote for one ever again.

"Being for gay marriage" does not mitigate all the other ridiculous things they want me to believe. (Re: guns, environment, oil, corporations, gender, race, Europe, war, welfare, socialism, male-bashing, etc etc).

Gay marriage is probably the only issue I agree with them on. As I do not vote single-issue, they have lost my vote forever.

I love Rudy, and as for Fred T. --- well, anyone who was on "Law and Order" receives automatic sainthood.

Love Jack

PS: I do like Romney cuz he's hot. And as for the dog incident, I don't care. The dog didn't seem to mind.

I guess you can tell a lot about a leader by the way he treats his dogs. But to you same Romney haters: What do you think about the way a President treats his WIFE and DAUGHTER? Does THAT have any bearing? Aparently not, you all seem to think Bill Clinton is just swell.

By contrast, Romney is wonderful.

Gulianni is pro-gay rights, and thats one thing that make stand apart from the rest of the GOP.

Sometimes I think Hillary would say anything to any group for their support, other times I believe her.

I'm sort of mistrustful of all politicians.

And anyone who seriously would vote Romney should be aware that you can tell a lot about the character of a person by the way he treats his animals. And this dorkwad tied the family do to the roof of the car and drove off on a vacation, when the dog barfed (out of terror) he freaking hosed it off in the cage, put it back on the roof and went obliviously on his way. Nice freaking guy. NOT.

well I'm Canadian and over here in Canada gay marriage is legal so i guess if i could vote in the US I'd go with The Democratic party since i believe that religion has no part to play in politics and it should be legal to get married no matter what you're orientation is. If your priest or pastor has a problem with it then that's their problem but the government should have nothing to do with it at all.

Good question but alot of people are very much misinformed about the democrats. Although they do support Gay people, and us being able to have a civil union. THEY ARE NOT FOR US BEING ABLE TO GET MARRIED. They say that we can have all the "rights" as a straight couple would but not in getting married.
Barack Obama "Disentangle gay rights from the word "marriage". (Aug 2007)
Gay marriage is less important that equal gay rights. (Aug 2007) "
Al Gore "Supports same-sex partnerships; but not “marriage” title."
John Edwards "No gay marriage, but no discrimination & civil unions."
Hillary Clinton (I think is the worst of them all, she is trying hard not to say that she is NOT a supportor for gay marriage and pon it off on the state with this she said: "Let states decide gay marriage; they're ahead of feds. Positive about civil unions, with full equality of benefits"

Look at these sites
http://www.ontheissues.org/Civil_Rights.htm#Headlines
This site lets you see what they stand for and compare them to other candidates. As you will see none support GAY MARRIAGE

I was going to vote for Hillary, as I was unaware that she does not support gay marriages, Then I read about what she stands for and what she dont. Because of this sad news, I am not voting this coming election.

If i was to vote, I have always voted Republican, and I think i would vote for Rudy

Yes, I agree. I'm gonna go with whomever the Democrats pull up as their candidate. Not exactly nuts over any of them. As usual, it'll be a matter of choosing the lesser of so many evils.

Joe Biden seems to me to be the most progressive; http://www.ontheissues.org/Civil_Rights.htm#Headlines. This page shows each canidates opinions on civil rights check it out! Also it is really important for this election to vote in the primaries there are alot of canidates that are very interesting canidates. Vote in the primaries it gives us even more power on who is elected president!! It's really important we don't to end up with another screw up (BUSH)!
