I don't trust them because many if not all are criminals. They break the laws of the constitution and they scratch each others backs. and they don't get punished for all their crimes, they are covered up or downplayed. liberty is when the government is afraid of the masses, tyranny is when the masses are afraid of the government.
If anyone of us did what they do all the time (fraud, lie, steal, ignore the constitution which is the foundation of this country,) we would be in jail and lose all our property.
Though i know there are sincere ones in the government I think they are outnumbered and outgunned, they try to do right and are hampered by every turn when what they want is to help the masses and not the special interests groups. anytime there are individuals who want to obey the constitution when passing laws or even enforcing them, they are hampered by the corrupted individuals which have the upper hand. I can imagine what goes on behind close doors, threats of many kinds, bribery, false reasonings to get people to fall in line with their criminality. I think propraganda just doesn't work with us but with those poor officials trying to do their job.
I know I was going to read a downloaded e book confessions of a economic hit man, but my computer wasn't working right. Has anyone read that book yet?
Also those in key government positions have one goal, world domination, and they use their positions to do it. They were helped to get those positions by those with hidden agendas those with money and power, of course they tell you this law or this tax is for this beneficial purpose to help or protect you, but in reality it is a control tool, to gradually take people's liberties , I mean it is easier and safer for them to deal with 300 million americans by stealth then direct confrontation because americans are used to being free, and will fight tool and nail to keep it, if they are aware of the assault but if the attacks are subtle under the color of law you don't see it coming. Your then defensless.
Examples, iraq, they lied about the whole thing knew they were lying and yet no one is being proscuted for the death, destruction and cost of this war. 9/11 was questioned and many families wanted an independent inquiry but the bush administration hindered at every turn. The patriot act was on the shelf, they didn't draft it out of an emergency but needed an emergency to get it passed and they kept changing it without congress's knowledge and scare tactics (sounds like terrorism doesn't it) were used to get them to pass patriot act one and two without having a chance to read or evaluates it's affects. They used scare tactics such as the american people will hate you because you don't support the troops if you don't give me more money or the troops will be in dire straits if you withhold this money. YOu get the picture.
congress has the power of the purse, all they had to do was not be intimidated withhold the funds and use remaining funds to bring the poor soldiers home. It would of put a dead stop to the globalists agendas if not downright set it back.

Bush told us citing an office in the pentagon that he would "spread disinformation to our enemies, to our allies, and to the American public."
Is this a recent enough example?
War in Iraq based on falsified evidence of WMD (which they recently found in NYC)?
Spying on US citizens? Did they really stop "datamining?" Or is this another lie from the DOD? Oops, I mean more disinformation? hell they denied doing it in the first place.
Alberto gonzales lying to congress?
Bush telling everyone he would fire whoever leaked Valerie Plame's name to the press then gave Karl Rove a pat on the back when it came out that he did it. Then pardonned "Scooter" Libby for falling on his sword and lying to the grand jury?
Or are these just too much "ancient history"

Karcher v. Daggett
Romer v. Evans
Lawrence v. Texas
and the worst of them all .......... Bush v. Gore.

Out here in the western us we have quite a few bumper stickers that say, "I Love My Country, I Fear My Government". That seems to be sad but true any more; they lie to us, steal our money, refuse to deport over 13 million illegals, kill people over practicing religion, refuse to respect property rights, etc.

That would depend on who's the manager. In the last 50 years it has been managed by crooks and thieves.
