Good spelling and grammar count as much or more than just creativity so please CHECK YOUR WORK! And I mean have someone proof it, don't just run it through spell-check, 'kay?

You will would fail my class, in a heartbeat.
A "B" level piece (that's spelled P-I-E-C-E) has been spell checked and edited for continuity which clearly you have issues with. Hopefully you have a better imagination than you do a grasp on the English language. (Capital E)
Just write your piece, go over it a few times, and then re-write it. Check it for errors several times, maybe even have a second set of eyes look it over. Imaginative writing is somewhat subjective so keep in mind to consider your audience, who you are writing to/for, and what they will be thinking while reading your work.
Don't shoot yourself in the foot by hoping only for a B. Shoot for the A. With some practice and a bit of effort you can be writing A level work.

Rewrite. Rewrite. Rewrite. Never ever ever turn in the first draft of a paper as your final draft. Enlist a parent or friend to proof read your papers. Check for any grammar or spelling errors. Make sure your paper includes everything on the assignment. Most of the points taken off of a person's paper are due to lack of proof reading.
