I love the names Jake, Daniel, and David and to suggest different spellings would be an insult to three perfectly normal names.

The way people are suggesting to spell Daniel makes it seem like it would be pronounced Danielle (which is my name) If your going to name a little boy Daniel, keep it normal. I have enough trouble with Danielle, I get Daniel, Dan'elle, and the most common I get is Danyel or Danyell. I can't imagine what would happen if you messed around with Daniel.

i have seen people spell names wicky ways and they just look dumb!!!

Spelling common or known names wrong does not make them unique, it makes them misspelled
