Ill tell you what bro, you shouldnt have let it get that far in the first place but I would have done the same thing only I probably woulda stopped with his nose. Next time go for body shots, I found that you can get away with that easier:-) But right on dude, dont let people bully you.

Amazing isn't it??
You put up with people bullying you for some time, and eventually you lose the plot and fight back, then YOU get done for it!!!
I'm not saying that perhaps you did go a bit over the top, the 1st punch would have done it really, but I do understand what pent up anger can do.
My son aged 14, is on the Autistic scale and has been bullied for the last 4 years.
When I told him to fight back, a teacher Had the audacity to tell me what a bad parent I was!!!
Yet nothing had been done about the bullies!!!
I hope you don't get into serious trouble...make sure you tell the police how much you were provoked...Good Luck!!!

You might have gone a little too far, because now you have a possible felony charge against you. You can attempt to stop him from pressing charges by threattening to bring charges against him for all the other times he's pushed or shoved you. Any contact is still a&b.
The best way to stop bullies is on their first attempt to bully you. Stand up, dont back down and let htem know you are not scared. They will move on becasue they are essentially cowards looking for someone to dominate.

Unlikely you'll do any time unless the bully guy wants to make life difficult for you and get on the cops to press charges. Unlikely if he's bullied you around.

Good for you for sticking up for yourself. I got bullied in elementary school by a kid on bike that would hit kids while riding around. Eventually I got tired of it and grabbed a tree branch - when he came by me I quickly shoved the branch in his tire spokes and his biked stopped and he flew off. I ran like the wind (he was bigger than me) - I'm guess he got hurt, but I never looked back. Oddly, I never got bothered by him again (don't think I ever saw him - he might have seen me and gone another route). I learned recently, he's been in and out of jail - kinda figured.

Bullying is horrible. If you fight back you get in trouble. If you don't fight back, they bully you all the more. It's like one of those horrible rites of passage that all kids have to go through. You didn't say how old you are, but I don't think you'll go to jail, especially since you didn't get suspended. Start studying Karate. Not only does it teach you how to defend yourself, it teaches you dicipline to control yourself. If you can't afford it, try to work something out with the Karate school. Good luck.

You're not going to prison! They're just trying to scare you but in any case you better atleast act like you're taking it seriously and VERY VERY SORRY for what you did. I'm laughing right now cuz that kid had it comming!! Good job sticking up for yourself. Next time you've gotta do that, take it easy!

You were absolutely NOT wrong. F that punk B.
I seriously doubt you will go to jail. The pigs were just trying to scare you. Next time you see him ask him how his face feels. Do this in front of his homies. No matter what he says, just call him a little girl and walk away. If he steps to you, kick his a$$ again.

Minors don't go to prison, but they might send you to DJJ. I'd definitely be telling people it was provoked.
Most likely the cop was trying to scare you so it won't happen again. If you are charged with something though, press a counter claim against the bully. It will bolster your defense.

You weren't wrong, you were defending yourself. There appears to be a long history of abuse between you and this individual, and any rational person could see how you could snap and knock the hell out of him. F*ck the cops, make sure you tell the attorney that defends you of the history of abuse from that punk. Also, don't ever let yourself get THAT mad; deal with situations when they occur and ask for help from others. Asking for help doesn't make one weak, it helps you strengthen your ability to better handle life. Wish I could have been there to see you knock the hell out of that guy!

you weren't right but you did what you had 2 do 2 keep yourself from being a victom.
i used to think violence didn't solve anything. now i know it does, but it also costs something, sometimes a lot, 2 use it. pay the price whatever it is, but u can still be glad you got the result you were seeking at the time
peace when possible
