Is the I-phone worth getting right now?

I have to replace my AT&t cell phone real soon. I want to get the I phone because all of the features look great. But with all of the problems Ive heard is it too soon? Have they fixed some of the problems with the phone yet? It just recently dropped $200 in price which is even better.

I had an iphone and only kept it a week. All I can say the battery life is horrible! The internet connection is very slow, you can't download any ringtones...graphics..etc. Its a pretty big/bulky phone to have in my opinion.

NO because i hear their commig out with another modle because the I phone is hackable
