First of all you have to be more careful. I had a snake in my apartment because it escaped someones apartment and decided to come into mine. Not a nice experience since I am terrified of snakes.

As you know snakes like to come out at dark when everything is quiet. So put some garbage bags along the perimeter of your walls. Turn off all the lights at night and sit and wait. Dont move around to much because it will feel your vibration. If it comes out chances are he will go along the wall and go over the garbage bags. So he will make a crinkling noise. Grab your flashlight and grab him quick.
If that doesnt work, put flour along door ways and outside of each room. When the snake ventures out he will move through the flour and leave a little trail behind. Than at least you know he either came out of that room or into that room. So start looking there. Look under everything. When I found the snake he was under my dvd player. Check under your bed, in shoes, under cabinets, pretty much check everywhere. Also keep your toilet lid closed and block off the sink drains, bath tub drains, heating ducts, so he doesnt get down there and escape. I do hope you find your snake. Good Luck!

The good news about finding a lost snake?

They usually don't go far.

The bad news?

They could be ANYWHERE!

The best method for finding a lost snake
is to start at their cage and work your
way outward checking in and under everything.
You need to lift furniture if possible and
use a flashlight if the room lighting isn't
good enough to see.

You also need to remember that you may only
see a small piece of your snake. Many like to
get in small spaces and coil around anything
they can.

Nowhere is off limits for your snake to hide.
They will go inside furniture, appliance, shoes,
or anything else they think has enough space
for them (although you may find their estimation
skills are poor).

If you can't find your snake, leave a water
dish out when you're in the room (make sure
you can see it). If it's really thirsty,
a snake will go looking for water and you
may be able to catch a glimpse.

If you're not sure a snake is still in
a certain room (or in the house), you can
spread baking soda on the floor and leave
it overnight.

If the snake is wandering around, you will find
tracks. Just remember, even in the dark most
snakes will stick to attempting to hide and
not wander through open areas.

I've found a good way to find a lost snake
is to get it to come back on its own.

If a snake's habitat is properly kept, it will
be the most comfortable environment around and
they will probably want to come back, so remember
to keep the lid off their enclosure.

Hope this helps you find your snake

i had a corn snake get out... she was out for a week before the cat found her first. keep the food in 1 place only. since they can smell you need to keep it in a place you can see and try to grab it when it comes out of hiding.
there are sooooooooooo many places it can get in to.
you might find it soon or might take a long time if you do at all.
pick up everything off the floor you can. keep the floor areas open and clear to spot it... do a room by room search then put towels under the doors so it can't get in a room once you check it.

Put out a heat lamp also. I lost a snake one time and we put out a heat lamp and he came to bask in it. You might get lucky. Maybe put it out by his food and keep it on at night too.
