I think that although he comes across as an amiable buffoon making people smile, he is honest and will serve the people rather than himself. I would appreciate your views on this.

I would certainly vote for Boris. I think he is great, and a refreshing change from all the other politicians who cant give straight answers to save their lives. At least with Boris you get a straight answer, whether you want it or not. And he is fun, and is quite happy to laugh at himself, which is VERY unusual for politicians.

Red Ken was chucked out of the Greater London Council by Maggie Thatcher only to creep back in again in Tony Blair's decade. His bloody awful extortionate vehicle conjestion charges do not make the transport system in London any better.

Boris Johnson is at least saying he will get rid oir lessen the charges. As well as having a new bus system put in place.
I do not think Boris is half the clown he makes out to be.

Let's face it after Livingstone the newt fancier a Chimpanzee could do better.

Ken Livingstone is an utter disaster and always has been, In fact he is a has been. Boris will get rid of the ridiculous bendy buses and hopefully bring back the proper London buses which are known and loved by tourists and Londoners alike. How many businesses have suffered a downturn in their trade since the introduction of the congestion charge, that sort of information is kept quiet.

There is a place for Boris, is it Ken's job? I'm not sure. I think Boris would be good for London in a lot of ways. I just think the mayor of London job might be too big for our Boris. It might be a crash and burn story for Boris and possibly London.

Boris is rather pompous and gives an impression of being a bit of an idiot. Don't be fooled he has a fine brain and is a lot more sensible than he is given credit for. He does need to watch his mouth sometimes but is unlikely to go making political statements outside his responsibilities.
Almost anything is better than the present poor joke

It's plain to see that 'Robert C' is not a London resident or taxpayer otherwise he would have a different view. Red Ken is a menace and has been ever since he first appeared on the political scene in London. First of all he supported PIRA but of course he didn't support terrorism he said. Now he doesn't support Islamic Terrorism but entertains their political masters. The only service he provided to the people of London is swingeing tax increase to be wasted on his left wing schemes.
