I generally like to, but generally keep the volume really low when my wife and son are asleep. (I work the night shift.)
Currently I'm listening to something that's even older than I am (is that possible?)
Emerson, Lake and Palmer---"Pictures at an Exhibition", which is VERY loosely based on Mussorgsky's stuff with lots of new stuff thrown in. I am listening to this concert clip, but not watching it. Lots of silly early 1970s clothing styles, and the music is what really matters the most.

Depends...usually, when I'm listening to music, that's ALL I'm doing! (I tend to take the music I like veeery seriously). I find that background noise interfers with whatever else I'm trying to do...
I listen to music when I play solitaire, and stuff, but I try to answer the questions here giving my concentration to the thing I'm saying...
