I bought a pink razr phone from a store on ebay (paid $130, but thats alot for me- I'm in college!) it was supposed to be new in box, never opened, with motorola phone tools and a handsfree headset. I got it and the headset was fuzzy, the software didnt work, it was two different colors pink, and when i turned it on it was in some foreign language. I changed it to English but it had misspelled words like personalise instead of personalize etc.. Then the select button stopped working. Then the back button stopped working. Then the zero button stopped working. This is in less than a full day after I had gotten it. I contacted the seller, they offer a 7 day exchange but you have to get a return authorization #. So I emailed them and they asked for pictures I guess to see if I had harmed the phone. I sent THREE and havent heard from them. I have been emailing them for 4 days straight and NOTHING!!!!!! I am so angry! What can I do?

file a claim with ebay. You probably didn't pay via PayPal but if you did file with them as well. I had a situation and tried to negotiate with the seller, and she became nasty. She ended up returning my money through Pay Pal.

Go back to eBay's site. It's not obvious on the site but there's a link called "Fraud Funds". Click on it and fill out the required information, including the item and/or transaction number. eBay will refund you the full price of the item, even if it was sold by an unscrupulous seller. Like I said, not easy to find on the website (I'm not sure eBay wants to scream that they're giving away money) but worth the effort. Good luck.

1. Lesson learned. 2. Never buy from a foreign seller. 3. Did you pay through Paypal? Or with a credit card? Complain to them too. 4. Put negative feedback; that may slap them into cooperation. 5. Exhaust your remedies through eBay, Paypal, insurance, credit cards, etc. You may or may not get relief. I've had both experiences.

an ebay seller counts on their feedback to be good . Send them a message stating is this is not taken care of within 10 days I will leave negative feedback . Other than that you are out of luck unless you paid through paypal , if you did file a dispute through paypal and you will get your money back

report it to e-bay and try to get the sellers information. Then try to find out from the Better Business Bureau what you can do. If you used Pay Pal maybe they can refund your money. Good Luck.
