Worry more about their health, environmental impact from people who are obese is moot. Consider if you have a gas vehicle, you pollute the environment more than what you describe obese people as doing. 100 "normal" people would that include overweight people as well? or do you lump any weight which seems fat under obese? Logically you should ask yourself much more questions before you ask an ignorant question, such as genetic disorders which can lead to obesity, eating disorders, which is mental health which leads to obesity and over weight. Environmental impact of the western decadence, not only one portion of the populace, but all of us combined. Technology which creates pollution, technology which you use, don't be hypocritical, and ignorant. If I had my way, which I Don't, and am thankful that I don't, because I am an angry person, and anger should never rule, anyways, IF I had my way, ignorant persons like yourself would be imprisoned for perpetuating hate and stupidity.

Facts buddy, lets see your facts! And I don't mean some misquoted study that most likely doesn't exist any way, I want to see stone cold hard inarguable facts!
Each and every human puts a strain on the environment, including you! And if fines or imprisonment was the punishment, you would be no more or less exempt then any one else!

Get a life. The study you cite is more than likely your own personal study and the results were skewed from the beginning.

I'm far from obese, I'm likely in much better physical condition than you are. I do 150 sit ups daily and I'm kinda messy...sometimes messy can be very good and a whole lot of fun.

Leaving trash outside proper recepticals is not classy, yet I found your piece of trash here on the internet. Are you obese or is it your brain that is malformed to be an ignorant bigot?

Are you serious!?!?! More strain?!?! That's stupid!!! There is mouch more to worry about in the environment than how much trash each person produces.

Do you think people who drive long distances for work should be fined because they produce more smog and or polution?

Do you think we should fine people who have a fireplace and burn wood because the smoke is harmful to the environment?

Or maybe we should fine people who have animals because they create waste as well.

Come on man...

This just sounds like yet another way to discriminate against the obese. Someone said that it is the last thing that it's still considered acceptable to discriminate against and I think you've proven the point.

Do you realize that they are health problems that cause people to not be able to be what maybe considered "normal weight" and expecting people to conform by insulting them is a leading cause of eating disorders. Ive suffered from anorexia nervosa at some level since I was 10 because ignorant people think everyone has to fit into some cookie cutter perfect skinny mold. when that just isnt true. stop worrying about what everyone else is doing to the environment, and make sure your doing your fair share.

Have you thought about the fact that they also die sooner than non-obese people? Relatively speaking, they probably come out even in the end. Seriously, my personal philosophy is to live and let live. I have no right to judge the choices others make. That is between them and GOD. The other thing is...How much government interference are YOU willing to accept in your life? If you want to penalize fat people maybe you also wouldn't mind being penalized for snoring or post-nasal drip or allowing your dog to do his duty in the grass. After all, these things are preventable also.
