Well at 11 it's hard to tell...but if he doesn't keep up with size and has more athleticism, he could convert to another position. He hasn't even had his growth spurt yet at 11, has he? Too early to tell...Just have to keep working.

I have to go with Pip. Your intentions are good I'm sure but he may decide football is not for him 3 years from now. Just let him have fun and these kind of things will work out. If he gets to high school and he doesn't fit the O-line then they will move him to linebacker or whatever.

It is too early to tell. Your son is still growing and you can't predict how tall or big he will become. I have to echo what another poster said and advise you not to worry about it. You are best letting your son develop a love for the game and work on his fundamentals at this point.

Not until the college level. But maybe his experience on O-Line will make him a good tight end or something. You never can tell what's going to happen to those kids during puberty. I knew a kid who I swore was never going to hit five foot, but by 17 he was six two.

Some of the best lineman arent that tall to begin with.. but before you plan your son's football future.. I would suggest you let him go through puberty first... cause he could get tall a slender... so he wouldnt even bother playing o-line.
