Nothing in my Newpaper this morning. Hillary and Obama had Front page for their recent debate. Does anyone see a pattern? The same paper who did everything in their power to get Hillary Clinton elected. Their editorials are bruising to any Republican and Flattering to any Democrat. How can they discredit FOX?

The GOP debate was greatly overshadowed by the entrance of Fred Thompson into the race. This seems to be the dominate news story of the day.

NO -- there WAS NO debate last night !! What occured on Fox News was an orchestrated Q&A meant to do exactly what it did --- highlight air-time for the Darlings of the Neocon position --- and down right slant and smear (as much as possible) all of those who differ FROM THEM !!!

Ron Paul, once again, was side-lined to only three brief and highly slanted questions within this 90 minute farce --- and during his air-time ---- camera angles and mic levels were purposefully "jacked" to de-emphasize the congressman's statements !!

You speak of a paper locally that is noticeably Democrat in it's coverage ---- here, locally, the exact same is true in favor of the Republican view !! When this occurs, as it evidently does, and you KNOW that --- why do you even bother subscribing to OR --- expect a different approach FROM them ?? Go to some other media that is more balanced --- but that is NOT what you are wanting here --- you are wanting MY hometown newspaper --- for it is slanted YOUR way !!!!

The debate wasn't a debate but a question and answer session. Most of the men on that stage are not going to even be in the contest when the final bell rings.

It is a non-event. Nobody really cares. The media is not going to dwell on such a non event. Space and time are expensive they must devote it to things and people that really matter.

Are you expecting every media outlet to spend hours or countless pages on that Q & A session? Get real. There are stories summarizing the event and that is enough for now.

Anyone who was truly interested in the Q &A session tuned in to it. Everyone else watched something else or did something other than watch TV.

There wasn't much of a 'debate'. The Republicans basically all got together and agreed that they all love the Iraq war, love George W. Bush, and really hate Ron Paul; While the FAUX anchors played cheerleader for the group think. ...Oh; And Rudy Giuliani tried several variations of his 'angry laugh' at people who don't agree with him and decided he still needs to practice in front of the mirror for awhile.

If you want a debate - People really bringing individual ideas to the issues and some real content to the discussion instead of just toeing the 'mandatory' party line - Watch the Democrats.

The only real debate was between Ron Paul and the rest of the candidates and Ron Paul is the perceived winner. I don't think the Republicans want that to be common knowledge.

At least it was a debate. You've got Republican candidate for the war---you got candidates against the war. You've got candidates for immigration----you've got candidates against immigration. All you get from the Democrats is the same ole, same ole-----What ever Bush is for, we're against; all of us!
