My brother went to an Apple Store the day after they went on sale. He went up to the sales rep and asked if they had any iPhones. The sales rep told him yes, just go up to the register and buy one. Total time buying one was 10 minutes if that.
Yes, those people who waited in line were idiots. Apple had plenty for everyone.
I think Apple has realized it's mistake that they priced them way too high.

Now you get it better and cheaper.
I guess these are the same people sitting outside a theater a month before the new "STAR NERD" movie comes out.
