You can loose 10 lbs. in 2 weeks on a low carb diet, I mean no more than 20-25 carbs per day. I lost 24 lbs in 1 month on the Atkins diet. You have to be real strict about it. Its not that hard to do!! Good luck! P.S> as long as you don't pig out afterwards the weight will stay off for a few months depending on what you eat.

You could probably do it (safely) in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.

Example daily food/drink intake:
Drink only water, and plenty of it.
Bowl of oatmeal for breakfast (skimmed milk and Splenda).
A salad for lunch (with tuna or chicken breast).
Wholewheat pasta for dinner, with a homemade tomato, onion, garlic, olive oil sauce. Don't use pre-made sauces, they are crammed full of sugar, salt, and artificial nonsense.

If you need a snack between meals, then maybe a couple of carrot or celery sticks with Houmous as a dip.

Walk/run for at least half an hour straight, twice a day.

I just lost 10 pounds in like 2 months and I wasn't even really trying to but I think it's cause I went swimming every day for like an hour and I did pull-ups and push-ups every other day.
I don't think not eating helps cause then you don't have the energy to exercise I think just eat healthy don't deprive yourself of good food but most importantly just exercise exercise exercise.

Don't expect miracles. Losing weight is unbelievably hard.
Like the first guy said, drink lots of water, do not eat grains, only eat real food you have to fix yourself. Preferably meats, chicken, fish, real veggies and fruits. Do some kind of exercise every day that gets your heart rate going.
How fast you lose depends on your body type.

Watch your diet and exercise. To keep the 10 pounds off forever you should lose them slowly...3/4 pound per week...that will take about 13 and a half weeks.

you can lose it in about a month....if you exercise at lease 5 days a week with cardio & weights, then also eat a balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies - along with portion control. In the end it's about burning more calories than you put in your body.

It really all depends on how overweight you are to begin with. If you are 130, wanting to be 120; or are you 240, wanting to be 230?
