Yes it is okay. Some people will tell you NO caffeine, but here is the scoop-my ob/gyn told me that the March of Dimes approved the equivalent of 2 cups of coffee per day for pregnant women. Which would be about 3 sodas, or two shots of espresso. HOWEVER-if you are going to get a chocolate brownie, go down a size on your coffee since chocolate has caffeine, too. But having a coffee a day isn't a big deal, especially if you don't drink it all the time. Enjoy your Starbucks, I know I do! Mocha frappucinos are my favorite. =)

Try half caff. Starbucks coffee has more caffeine than your average cup, so yes the baby will be OK, but it's better to limit your caffeine consumption to only 1 cup per day, and a cup of Starbucks is like 2-3 cups.

My obgyn said coffee is okay - IN MODERATION.
Having more than 3 cups a day is a BIG NO-NO!
But like someone said before... once or twice a week is okay... as long as you are careful about the rest of your diet.
My dr also said limit fish with High Mercury content - canned tuna or even salman. :(
Tuna salads are kind of a craving of mine recently, but can't have much. She said 14oz per Week. Thats like one sandwich i think. so i might as well not have any at all!!
I've been told to drink 8oz of milk daily (2% or even whole milk - if i'm not worried about weight gain).
But if you are already paying attention to all this, you'll be fine. Enjoy your starbucks! (try decafe, if you can drink it, its mucha safer!!!)

Yeah you can do what you want But I would stay clear of the extra sugar and caffine! have you been tested for diabeates yet? if you have been avoiding the sugary stuff throughout your pregnancy I would stay clear it could trigger somehting the baby will be fine But you need to think of yourself and your health also. Not to mention to much caffine can cause the baby to be fussy and nervous after delivery.

It is best to limit your caffeine when pregnant, but you don't have to cut it out entirely. An occasional Starbucks will be ok. I drank soda throughout both of my pregnancies and my doctor told me that one soda or cup of coffee daily was ok.

Mocha frappucino's were what got me through my awful morning sickness. Caffeine in moderation is okay in pregnancy...that's what the doc. says. 100-300mg of caffeine..a starbucks tall coffee does have a lot of caffeine in it but not sure. Good Luck!

Your baby will be fine, just try to limit your caffine intake. They make non-caffinated beverages at Starbucks so you can just ask for a decaf if you're worried.

Yes...the occasional cup of coffee (strong or not) wont hurt your baby.
Just dont over do it. Avoid a lot of caffeine in your day.

I would decaf, it's best for the baby. Defintley at the most go half-calf because their drinks have double the caffiene of most others. Think of your baby first!
