Yes, this one truly, truly applies to my husband and I. We have a neighbor we call Gladys Cravits (the nosy neighbor from Bewitched). My husband has a very lovely telescope, it is quite, well, big doesn't work so we'll use the word huge. So we moved it in front of our floor to ceiling windows that she is always peering into and look through it at her. It drives her batty and she even reported us to the neighborhood association. After they wouldn't do anything to us about that she started staring in the spare bedroom windows that are just as big. We got out our binoculars and stare right back at her. It is such a riot!!! She always watches when ever company comes over so we let everyone take turns looking either into the telescope or the binoculars if she is spying!!! Believe it or not she still does it!!!! You would think she would give up by now.

in my area of town we are all noisy neighbors,
we watch one another's back to make sure houses don't get burglarized or things of that nature and that kids are safe.
but if we had someone like the stevens on bewitched, then I would probably do the body in a rug routine for the trash to pick up using a maniquin, or other stuff to make her so intrusive to the police call center that they would ignor her, and when she really needed help, then I would have to confess my pranks went to far, but well she's gone now and I can stop.......
i'm more worried about uncle sam not monitoring things and the terrorist that are here doing stuff than old lady x calling the cops about my doings. Geez.

My next door neighbor watches out the back door and screams out the window. My backdoor neighbor has a spot light that's sole purpose is to shine on the screamers back door. She likes calling me in the middle of the night. The last time she did I took my ringing phone to her front door....pounded on it with a bat and screamed, "What the F....do you want?"

Leave the house by the back door so that they don't see you, go for a long walk and feel smug about your sad neighbour watching an emoty house.

No just give them a wave invite them over for a cup of tea.Lets them know you have seen them,but you are not been rude or offencive.Makes them embarrassed.

my ex's neighbor was always looking over at us...so I gave the ex a golf club and told her to "beat" me w/ it. Cops showed up as I was outside practicing my chipping on the lawn.

I've got one neighbor that "just happens" to come out of his house every damn time I go outside... he is really getting on my last nerve.
