Pregnancy naturally will cause headaches related to the shifts of blood supply. Is this a chronic problem (old) or acute (new) problem? you need to have your blood pressure checked. Although you are very early in your pregnancy- where Pregnancy induced hypertension(PIH)- typically is not a problem until later on- I would say you need make sure you call your physician if it is persistent. Tylenol is Okay to take during pregnancy. Usually 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours a needed. But if you find yourself taking them and no relief PLEASE follow up.

My doctor told me it was ok to take Tylenol. I, like you, am trying to do everything as natural as possible. I have had to give in once in the 13 weeks I've been pregnant and take 2 Tylenol for a horrible neckache I had for over a week. I think it would be ok to take a couple Tylenol and then if that doesn't help you might try visiting a chiropractor or a pre-natal massage person. It could just be that your neck is out of place causing your headaches.

Tylenol is fine. It could be due to dehydration, caffeine withdrawel-if you've recently decided to cut down on caffeine because of the baby, or it could be a sinus headache. I got those wicked bad when I was pregnant, it has something to do with excess mucous. Try taking a sudafed- which id totally ok during pregnancy as well, I asked my doctor about that. It worked wonders, even when Tylenol didn't work.

taking the recommended dose of Tylenol should not hurt the baby.. things that help me with a headache however, because I'm all about natural, is a hot shower, followed by a nap, a cup of hot coffee or chocolate, start drinking alot more water my midwife says about 3 liters would be great.
she said that the headaches can be due to not getting enough water.. good luck!

take tylenol! 2 pills every 6-8 hrs as needed. Lay down in a dark, quiet room and put a cool cloth on your head. I know you are concerned, but you can't torture yourself, thats not good for the baby either.

Tylenol is definitely ok but this headache could be caused by something else. I recommend calling your doctor.

Whenever a headache strikes drink lots of water .Lack of oxygen may have lead to your headache. Place a few ice-cubes in a polythene bag, and apply this on the forehead and temples. Check out http://useinfo-headache.blogspot.com/ for more info

During the mid point in pregnancy you get a surge of hormones (informed by my doctor) that can cause headaches, nausea, more mood swings...basically up the symptoms of pregnancy. Keep doing what your doing and when in doubt talk to your doctor.

ok since you are only 12 weeks personally i would just deal with it-it may suck but its not going to kill you...take a bath..drink ALOT of water..or take a nap! listen to soothing music and just dont think about it so much, your body is going through alot but it will go away!
oh and that woman said chocolate or coffee? nonono! caffeine triggers headaches and makes them worse!
