I pray for The Loved ones, that have passed on, but I pray most of all for my grandson, whose Life was taken from him ,at the age of 23, and his senseless, killing, by People, if you want to call them that, to me they are Animals who should not be enjoying Life, but Misfortune for them who were in involved in his Death, will be punished by God's Hand. I pray every night for Justice, and I pray also, for all my family members, which is a huge Family.

When I would pray I would always ask God to look out for my people who have passed. I do not pray like I used to.

I do include them most in my prayers. I pray that their souls, wherever they may be, receive the grace of pardon from The Almighty for whatever wrong they might have done when they were still on earth, and that the gate of heaven be openned to welcome their souls in true peace with their Creator.

I always remember this part of a great song: "Oh, they say that the stars in the sky are the souls of people who died,.. then we'll meet them again when we reach our destination".

I am not trying to offend anyone but why would you pray "to" a dead person? My grandmother has been dead for twenty years and I talk to her because it comforts me in certain times but it is the wisdom she offers me through my memories of her. When she was alive I never missed a word she said and in times of incertainty I can usually recall a pearl of wisdom she once told me.

when i lose love ones i firstly pray for them and there souls to be taken care of in the eternal life, but in reflection it can ease my mind to move on, because i have gained wisdom in knowing that they will be looked after by God.

~~~ I don't pray to my Husband or God. I talk to them. I only asked God once to "Let Cliff In". When I say I will pray about something I actually mean I will discuss it with the "Man In Charge". It works for me,even though sometimes I think God is wrong. But that's just the way it is, so I accept it. I used to ask Cliff to sneak me in since God wasn't letting me in ,but I guess they have high security in Heaven. I haven't asked him to do that in a long time,so he probably forgot. That's okay with me now. ~~~
I pray for them to guide my family that need help and they don't realize it.
I used to pray to my dad to guide me in taking care of my mom. Now I pray their souls are together in heaven. I would ask him to help me get through it.
But I still ask them to help me through the tough times. I guess I figure they are a direct link to God.
Though I pray a lot to him to.
When i pray to them i am talking to them and asking them to 4give me for not having spent more time with them or as is most of the time, i'm just talking to them, my way of letting them know they are still in my heart and memories. :)
I'd like to think/hope that they are in some way guiding my decisions when i really need their input. Yeah, i guess wisdom/guidiance.
My prayers go to God, my thoughts to the souls of my family, with shared hopes for peace and untroubled rest, in the confidence of belief. What wisdom that comes, I must discover for myself, within myself.
