That has got to be one of the most ridiculous questions I have ever seen!
There is absolutely no way in the world to compare a college football team to the NFL. You could not even come close to finding a way for a college program to work in the NFL.
Just ridiculous!
Give me a break people! There is no college football team anywhere that can hold their own in the NFL. Some will say USC or Ohio State, and each of those teams may, MAY win a game against the weakest teams in the NFL. But be real here folks, if college football teams were so good they could compete against the NFL, then why are some of the better college players never drafted and/or never play in the NFL? Why don't ALL the college football players get drafted or even potentially get drafted?
God, give me a break!!!!

Wow. There are some great answers here. But I will add that the best athletes don't always make for the best excitement. There is absolutely nothing more enjoyable than watching on TV, or better yet attending in person, a major conference college football game. This is where all the tradition and passion of the game is and that's not by accident. The game was born and prospered at the University level long before "pro" football was even thought of. College football is absolutely ingrained into the very culture of many places around the nation, especially in those place devoid of NFL teams. College football allows the game to thrive in places like Lincoln, NE or Norman, OK, or Tuscaloosa, AL. Places and states that may never see a professional team, but can fill an 85,000 seat stadium with a waiting list years long for season tickets. It produces bitter in-state rivalries that have virtually everyone in the state on the edge of their seats with every play. College football is American culture at its best.

There is not one college team, particularly a division 1AA team, that can compete with the worst NFL team. USC could not even come close to beating any bad NFL team. The talent level is just that much higher. Just like the best high school team in the country could not even compete with most division 3 college teams and definitely not any division 2 or higher.
App. State would lose every game 70 to nothing or worse...and i like App State.

There can be little doubt it would be a very tough climb for them. Sort of like climbing the Appalachian mountains but,
I am pretty sure they could match the record of the Detroit Lions over the last decade.

I am sure that after purchasing tickets to a game they could use the restrooms like everyone else watching the game that day.
The only way they could ever win a game is if they played Michigan every game.

yeah ... uh ... "if" they were in the NFL ... um they arent. They arent even in 1A college ball. They are in the Bowl Championship Subdivision (the new term for 1AA). Im ashamed you used the energy to stroke the keys with that question. Go to bed. RIGHT NOW! And dont come out until you can behave yourself.

They would lose to everybody except maybe Oakland. The thing is, you can't run the spread offense in the NFL like they do. They would get destroyed.

They'd go 0-16, having scored zero points for the season.

They'd be #1. #1 in the draft that is, after an 0-16 record.

Not very far, just to a Panthers game. They might have a hard time finding enough tickets so they could all sit together though.
