"As flies to wanton boys, are we to the gods;
They kill us fo their sport."

Because of the "law of attraction". You get what you think about, wanted or unwanted. So if you focus on all the things that are going wrong in your own life or those of others, you will start to create that in your life. NO KIDDING. Also there is the No Insertion rule. So you cannot create in the life of another. So a person close to you may do something you do not like,( like kill themselves) and you may consider that a terrible thing. But each person is creating their own lives and the only thing you can really control is your own personal creation. So if you sit around and listen to people's endless problems, even trying to be sympathetic, what happens is that the law of attraction will put you in the same vibration pattern as them and you will start to rendezvous with things you might consider bad. Not necessarily the same things but similar vibration stuff.
There are a lot of people in this world who skip through the rain drops so to speak. They do this and are able to do this because they see the world as a friendly place, and since that has been their experience and they continue to expect that reality..But if you watch the 6 pm news every day, where reporters diligently scower the planet for the worst stuff that has happened relative to billions of people, you might get the idea that the "sky is falling" and it is just a matter of time before it falls on you. So no matter how right things are going for you, you will never feel safe, as bad stuff is being shot out of a cannon ever second and sooner of later it's bound to hit you.
Think how relived and freeing it would feel to know, really know that you are safe, well and you life can and will work out for you.

and look at the movie: What the Bleep do we know?" as even scientists are now understanding that our thoughts are just vibrations that tune into a universal layered net of like thought and experience.

maybe because good people cant arrive to the top and take it all unless they face bad things.i always believe that everyone get as much as he can handle so good people can always handle it all the time and that's why they were called good people because they never choose the easy bad road,no they choose the right one the long and the most harder way because being good in a word full of bad things isn't easy at all.so good people face all the bad things because they aren't weak and because bad people always try to make them bad also.and like they say what doesn't kill you make you stronger.and good people are stronger even if they are not many because they face every day a different bad feeling and different big problems.but don't forget that even if good people have bad things but it will never be for a long time.and they will get what they need because they are good and GOD don't forget anybody specially good people

I do not question it anymore for two reasons. The first is this. What is good and bad? When I realized that these things do not really exist it changed my perspective. The second thing is this and it assumes the existence of good and bad. Bad things do not only happen to good people, they happen to everyone.

We all bear the full weight of the human condition. We are all mortal, and subject to the diseases, infections, and accidents that may befall us. Doing "good" doesn't make you immune to all the dangers of the world.
We do good things, and bad things, and the consequences of our actions can harm or help us - or others.
Consider these scenarios:
- you die while saving a child from drowning;
- you steal medicine for yourself during a pandemic.
It's a tough question in each of these scenarios to determine absolutely which action and consequence is "good" or "bad", without recourse to ethics.
Jesus advises to love God, then to love your neighbor as yourself.
Hippocrates said "First, do no harm".
I can't see much downside to following these principles. But they won't prevent a good person from being slain by a random shooting or a falling meteor.

I believe that good things happen to bad people because of the evil forces that surround those who do good, Satan is always trying to make us give up on doing good. Then again it could be that we tend to feel sorry for ourselves when bad things happen and forget about the good things in our lives. It reminds me of the old saying "I cried because I had no shoes, until I met a man that had no feet."

A thing is a thing it is good or bad is decided by the fact how we judge it!! and also we generally see that bad things happen to only good people because we see that they are good but not bad. lemme explain with an example say how can you distinguish darkness if there was only light!!

Life is a journey, it is a challenge. Bad things happen to filter out the weak regardless if they are good people or bad people.

It is all a game gods plays and we are their peaces. Like when we go fishing. Makes us wonder what gods use as bait? Should be flattered when bad things happen as that means the ‘gods’ think we are on a high enough ‘level’ for it.

Bad things happen to good and bad people.
'Bad things' make us who we are...it's how we deal with certain situations that makes us 'good' or 'bad'. They are always a learning experience.
Without the bad, the good wouldn't seem so fine.

we describe good pople as the ones who are good by the definition given by us, that is human beings. but the rewards or punishments given to any person is on the basis of the universe. on an universal level a person who seems good to us may be bad , he may be also be good. thats the reason rewards and punishments donot seem to match with our perceptionof good and bad.
