Well if there is not a God than there would be no after life, so you would never find out. However I Do believe that their is a God, I think life would be to sad without an eternal reason for everything.

Likes to think there are enough reasons to live life like you believe in god even if you don’t believe in god. Had this thought the other day about god been synonymous to you because all we have is self and not self and you are not self so you must be god or at least one of its faces or some such. It is not really a full thought but it is tasty to chew on.

The baptists came to my house the other day and asked me if I died today, would I go to heaven. I replied No. They asked why. i said because I do not believe haven exists. They asked if I believed in Jesus. I replied, absolutely. They asked if I was good. I said I believe so. They then said, how is it that you are good, believe in Jesus, yet do not think you are going to heaven. I told them that my goodness does not depend on a reward. I am good because I care for my fellow man. I do not need a reward after I die. I live as I feel I should. I do not need the prospect of reward or punishment to keep me in line. If a thief does not steal because they are in jail it does not mean they are not a thief. It just means they are a thief who has not stolen because they cant. Do you think, if there was a heaven and it worked the way we have been taught, God would let a thief into heaven when the reason he has not stolen was because he was incarcerated? I highly doubt it. If you are evil, be evil, have at it. It makes no difference if there is a God and Heaven as it has been taught to us. An evil person who does not commit evil because they fear punishment after death is still an evil person and would have no place in heaven as it has been taught to us.
