usually anyone who advertises is scam. anytime you see the names John Robert Powers, Barbizon, or John Casablancas run for your life. they are only out to get your money, they offer classes, that dont even teach you the correct fundamentals of acting, and they will never get you any work. I'm not sure about Austin Powers acting, but it sounds like a scam as well. Movie directors usually only go to agencies when they need talent. There are exceptions of course, but they are very rare, and are usually only for extra casting. Do your research before going to any audition to find out if these people are legit, and just because they dont ask for money it doesnt mean that they aren't a scam. Alot of people are just out there to exploit little girls.

Scam, doesn't waste your time.

There is no high demand for young actors, there are literally thousands of experienced young actors that live locally (ie: LA, NYC, Toronto). Agencies don't advertise and go on a hunt for new talent.

You sure you got the name right? Anyway, it is a SCAM. Forget it, they will just take your money and do nothing for you. Real agents do not advertise for talent (except for extras) and and real casting of roles is done through real agents. You will only make a fool of yourself if you participate.

Oh, behave! The company is called John Robert Powers. Google them with all the words "scam." You'll see for yourself. Stay away from them. Don't get robbed. Yeah baby!

Sounds like a scam. Legitimate companies do not advertise they are coming to town. They will probably charge you a lot of money to register with them - don't do it.
