I know there's a lot of them out there. I wish to know which one you consider the best in terms of screen output and good interactive interface.

Try FRACTINT and WINFRACT - these are free and there are lots of places to download from on Google. FRACTINT is a DOS program and WINFRACT gives it a GUI interface. These will generate dozens of different types of fractal, including Madlebrot sets.
