1) Why do you as an organisation permit postings on here that are hurtful?
2) Why do you as an organisation delete answers which are carefully worded and not intrusive.
3) Why when I have asked this organisation before regarding the above have you not replied.
So anyone there in your head office willing to answer this.
We all are waiting.

It sure would be interesting to see if Yahoo replies!
As for those of you who are yelling "freedom of speech!" LOOK IT UP. It's not "all-inclusive". There are limits, and rightfully so. If you live in the U.S. and you respect our Constitution, you know where the limits are, and why they are there. Actually, "respect" is not such a difficult term to understand. Why more people don't have it (at least for each other-), I just don't know.

Hey its libel law Lomax again :-)). Listen up my child, Yahoo provides an really nice platform here, however they are NOT responsible for what people say on here. All they have to do is to make sure they are not hosting anything illegal. Hurting your veeelings is not illegal.
Its like suing the city because somone insulted you while you were in a public building.

Contact Yahoo Customer Care with your complaints and questions or post them up on the suggestion forum if you want a staff member to read it.

This is how the world works. Life isn't fair. Rude people get their way and nice people finish last. Deal with it and don't let it keep you up at night. Its not just Yahoo!.

As much as many hate it, Kate, there is a question of censorship vs. Freedom of Speech. For those who live in the US, the latter is an important part of their constitutional rights. And that would extend to YA.
The other issue is perspective. For the sake of argument, I suggest that, perhaps, there are some who may be genuinely offended by some of your comments/responses/questions. Who is to decide what is offensive? How is it to be measured?
Once we start wading into these waters, they get deep and murky pretty quickly....

email the offending postings directly to yahoo. if they're real bad they'll be deleted. and contest wrongful violations repeatedly, esp if it resulted in a suspension.

I would have to see examples of what you are referring to? The only extremely hurtful posts are deleted. If you are referring to men, and their questions... just because you disagree, doesn't make them hurtful...and if this was the case, then we would have to get rid of all the Feminist posts as well.
You basically are asking for Yahoo to side with all the women on here.

Kate, what you said belittling Cassius' point value was really mean. Also, it pains me emotionally that you would attack Yahoo in this manner. I love Yahoo and it hurts me to see them denigrated like this!
In short I have spoken with lawyers and family members who know Yahoo. What you are doing is illegal and if not, it should be. My feelings are sacrosanct by International Law.
