80 or so percent of the news is pretty similar...
it's the other 20 percent, mainly the TV content, none of which is AP, that I'm aware of, that tends to be slightly problematic...
NOW.... is it "lies"... that may be a little strong... mistakes have been made and so have corrections... but every news source has it's mistakes (which conservatives also need to realize with CBS and CNN, when they make mistakes)...

Fox news doesn't ALWAYS lie. Most of their (miniscule) news stories are factual. Where the lies come in is from their 'commentary' and their selection of what to show as news.
Bill O'Reilly lies like a dog. Sean Hannity, John Gibson and most of the guests are extremely biased and often inaccurate. They fill a big portion of the time on Fox 'news.' It isn't news, though, it is opinion disguised as news.
Secondly, it's a matter of choosing what to show and what not to show. Fox 'news' gave us 12 times the amount of airtime devoted to Anna Nicole Smith than the scandal at Walter Reed Hospital (remember 'support our troops?).
The examples are just too many to list. If you really want the truth about Fox 'news,' check the newshounds link. Just because once in a while some of their stories are true doesn't make them 'fair and balanced.' Even Pravda had some truth in it. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

UUMMM... they tell the truth...I would like to know why some people think that they aren't telling the truth. Your question is absurd. Of course they tell the truth! Why would they want to lie? Who would it be helpping? Fox News is in fact Fair and Balanced. Trust me I watch Fox News as much as possible and if there is more than one side to the story, they present every single side.

Funny, isn't it, how quick they are to slam Fox, yet they have no problem with CBS. Was Rather framed? Give me a break. Or how about Reuters Photoshopping pictures during the Israel/Lebanon fight last year? The pictures were doctored up to make Israel look bad. Or how about when the LA Times ran a Photoshopped picture, showing another Photoshopped picture that make the infantry look bad? Or how about the NY Times (we'll print any and all national secrets!) when they *knowingly* ran a story that was full of lies? Gee, kids, you're right - there's *no* liberal bias to the MSM.
Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal....

Fox News went to court to defend their right to distort the news in Florida.
Case closed.
{In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States.}

When they run a story from the AP it is generally on the website. But the programs they run and the stories they run on TV (the most widely used medium for news still) they tend to be Conservative leaning.

Dems are scared of the truth. And they scape goat fox news as not being a reliable source. Fox news has more liberals on it, then any other lefty news has Republicans. That's the truth.
