Why do people at work share their personal business?

I DO NOT CARE. I'm not being mean, but I honestly could not care less about your hair appointment, or your kids, or where you ate last night, or whatever. I'm just here to do work. wth is up with that? What do you think?

Daniel, I completely agree. Our workplaces have become less and less professional, which is why conversations and behavior are becoming more and more casual. It's one thing to have friends at work but too many people cross the line to being unprofessional. Yuck!

I know....I try to avoid that "small talk" if at all possible but stay cordial and do my work...you're right....boring...who cares...
