It could be "Tuff Enuff" by the Fabulous Thunderbirds though in the song there is no mention of climbing the highest mountain. It does use several other analogies similar such as climbing the empire state building, wrestling a lion and a bear declaring that "nothin' I'd do for you that's too, tough for me" and in the chorus, asking "ain't that tuff enuff". I would not consider it a country song, I have always likened it to a blues/rock much like Stevie Ray Vaughn. An interesting note regarding the band is that it's member Jimmie Vaughn is the brother of Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Fabulous Thunderbirds - Tuff Enuff

Corrects title spelling.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds are led by Kim Wilson. This Texas rockin' blues band has never charted on the country chart, though five singles have charted on the pop/rock charts. Besides Tuff Enuff, they also have the hits Wrap It Up, Twist Of The Knife, Powerful Stuff, and Stand Back. Look for their songs How Do You Spell Love and Rock This Place as well - they should have been bigger.

The song is Tuff Enuff and it's by The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Also it's not a country song. More like Blues-Rock ;-)
