Hey guys, I have an '95 C280 and recently Ive been having problems when trying to start it. Every one out of 3 times I start the car, Ill turn the key and itll take about 5-6 seconds for the car to actually start. A few times Ive had to get a jump start, and some times it has actually shut off on me when Ive come to a complete stop. I recently brought it in to a shop and had the Air Flow Meter changed, and their computer said something was wrong with my "Switchover Relay Valve." Could this be it? Could it be spark plugs/wires? The car has 160,000 miles on it and I doubt they have been change. The mechanic shecked it for me and said they weren't that bad. If anyone can help, itll be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kris

let the dealer give you a major service to include new wires and plugs.

Switch over is a maint. item like plugs wires ect. Never use Bosch Plugs. Try Autolite Plat. plugs, better mileage more power. Not everything good is German, some from east germany.I found purolator oil, air, and fuel filters far better.
