I think it would be a factor on why he murdered his family. Though it may mitigate blame away from him, it still comes down to he murdered his family. If he had brain damage, wouldn't it have come up in behavior changes etc.? I'm not trying to say that the family is at fault either. This was a public figure with a lot of people around him. This action happened and laying blame on any one thing is not going to bring them back. Understanding it will hopefully prevent a future tragedy like this.

It was a combintion of the constant drug use and brain damage. I'm not making any excuses for Benoit but I think his fans deserve to know the truth. Like I said no excuses but there are others who are to blame just as if they were there helping Benoit commit the horrible acts.

yea its possible that that is what caused it. But on the other hand he could of quit doing his head butting moves or quit wrestling all together. He could of received help from a phychologist or something but he never seeked help. And now possibly benoits dad might sue the wwe i cant c that happenening. The one being sued should be benoit himself for killing both of them and he is dead so.

i would like to believe so. Benoit is still one of my favorites, and it seems logical tat brain damage could have caused it, or at least played a major role in it. the real question is, since it is partially WWE's fault for the brain damage, will they now acknowledge him, induct him into the hall of fame, and put him in future games (he has already been removed from 08.)?
