Radical Islamists have posted a little message on one of their websites proclaiming that they have a 'gift' for us on the 'day of the Manhattan invasion' .
E.D. Hill said her pentagon sources are greatly concerned and frantically attempting to connect the dots wherever possible . She also has more info that she said she wasn't at liberty to say . This and other 'messages' that are almost the same as the ones just prior to 9-11-2007 . Reporter Catherine Herridge is currently working her inside sources in an attempt to offer and broadcast more .
How about enough of the bickering and let's openly discuss what each of us can do , share our ideas in an effort to make people more aware and less afraid to talk about it ?
Note : Other times when I have brought up this subject others have blundered that it's 'fear-mongering' or that there's nothing any of us can do as individuals . WRONG . Israeli Intelligence credits the people with thwarting the majority of terrorist attacks in Israel.

You know and so do many of us that someday soon the terrorist will strike the US again. Unfortunately many on the far left don't care or want to dismiss it. I think this time will be very different and the next year we will have to be on the highest levels of alert to prevent it which the democratic leadership in congress, the mainstream media and others want to take us away from with there constant desires for investigations of individuals and moves to far flung conspiracy theories.

Although it is unlikely that terrorists would telegraph their moves it is also likely that they make statements like this to study how we react. It is a way of learning our strengths and weaknesses. Every false alarm, every phony bomb threat is possibly an intelligence gathering probe.
We should all take note of our areas of operations. If you notice something out of place or something or someone that just does not look right, notify the authorities. 99% of these details prove to be nothing but it is that 1% that can really hurt you and your family.
Be vigiliant, be prepared. Everyone needs to have in place, an emergency plan for their families in the event of a disaster, natural, industrial or terrorist. If you are at work and your kids are at school something could happen that will delay you from getting home. Where do they go? What do they do? Who will pick them up? What if the phones don't work how will you communitcate? What if you and your family cannot go home? Were will you all meet?
We really should be able to answer all of these questions and more. Please sit down with your spouse and children and come up with a plan. If it hits the fan near you your children will fare far better if they have a plan. DON'T RELY ON CELL PHONES! The system is often jammed or could actually be disrupted.

Sadly I beleive that the Bush adminstration has paid no more than lip service to national security and we are as vulnurable as ever. Even more so in the sense that the Iraq debacle has given more fuel to those that want to do us harm and worse, expanded their ranks.
I lost a cousin on 9/11 and 343 brother firefighters. It sickens me to think that no attention has been paid to port or border security and that DHS & FEMA are still headed by incompetent political aparatchiks and not security, emergency response and intelligence professionals.
Sadly again I fear will be hit again, becasue those in charge don't care or worse see some political advantage to be gained in the event of another attack.
All such threats should be taken seriously and dealt with harshly and expediciously. The question is not whether you and I think they are real but what our so called leaders and experts think, and their willingness and competence to mitigate the the threat sufficiently to prevent another attack.

Kind a dumb suggestion considering a person whould have to know something about it to thwart it. This is not Israel pressed with inherent knowledge of such things. The majority of Americans wouldn't know squat about it or how to interfere with it other than elect someone who might have a clue as to how to prevent the nidus of/for it. So far so bad, eh?

Well it couldn't happen to a more deserving part of the country, Manhattan and NYC are a Liberal Mecca.
With that being said, I hope we (USA and our Allies) are able to stop and repeat attacks.
