You can't even look at some of them sideways without them accusing you of being a racist.

Okay I understand all of your answers. What I'm talking about is that this one guy who comes in late all the time and takes longer breaks gets away with it because management is so scared of him.Any and every time they call his attention to anything wrong he does,he whips out the race card.

one of the eternal questions floating in my head...if you ask the question, you will be labeled as racist for bringing it up (as you can see from some of your answers)...but there are a couple people who did get your q' and are right...and as a minority, i think that it is a fair question to ask...we also go through discrimination in this society, but unlike this particular group of people we don't lean on it as an excuse for poor performance...i think not wanting to take responsibility for one's actions and decisions in life...and if as a young child they are not taught to be responsible and to stand for their own mistakes they will grow up to be your co-worker who will blame everyone else for his downfall

He's a loser! Some do do this when it's not necessarily the truth. But some are discriminated against in the workplace. If I was his boss, I'd start writing him up for the tardies etc. Most companies have policies that state after so many verbal and so many written warnings, they can fire you.
Let him attempt to file a law suit after they follow their company rules. Written warnings usually require the employee to sign stating that he understands the reason for the write up. Once they have written him up for say the 3rd time, he can be fired. Then he can't use the race card as a defense!
Sad thing is, that ppl like him cause ppl who are really dealing w/ race issues in the workplace to not be taken seriously when they file a rightful claim.
He needs to grow up & get a life!!

Hah, I purely spoke back this question re: OJ simpson 2 secs in the past. i come across it the comparable way- purely blacks generally, no longer all yet seem at that Isiah Washington who replaced into fired from Greys Anatomy. Did he cry race the excellent time he replaced into working, no he did no longer purely after his loud mouth have been given fired b/c he replaced into so slanderous to gays. How ignorant is that?! There are some black people who take possession for his or her action, those are those to be counseled. those crying race b/c you're inflicting crime etc and getting unfair scientific care-ie-Rodney King, who replaced into no longer harmless in a manner-truly get on my nerve. You on no account see a white guy or woman playing the race card do you, we've too lots satisfaction! we are the minority now.

Of course I am white, and I will get called a racist, but who cares? Its getting pretty old.
But I do understand. Where my b/f works, there is one black guy (there are many who work there) who constantly "plays" the race card. Now he is a supervisor and he doesnt know any thing about the position. But they didnt want a racial lawsuit so they gave it to him. Its just wierd to me...

Because legislation and societal pressures in the workplace courtesy of the left and the DNC have historically reinforced, enabled, and rewarded this type of reverse racist behavior. Such thinking errors only malign social justice for everyone and encourage ethnic tension among the diverse population of our country.

You have to realize that in the workplace Black people are discriminated against just like in any other area of this society. Fed Ex, for instance, just got fined MILLIONS of dollars in a lawsuit, the judge ruled that Fed Ex was discriminatory against Black and Latino workers in it's hiring and promotion practices, as have many other well known corporations and businesses. The NAACP publishes a list of companies every year and grades them on their fair hiring and promotion practices, you'd be surprised who received F's. Now, if youre commenting on individuals who accuse coworkers of bigotry, yes, that is a constant thing that Black people have to deal with especially in the corporate setting where white males have dominated as CEO's and presidents, and where usually lone Black male or female have to stand up against bigoted coworkers who dont feel that a Black man has a place in corporate businesses.

Black women can never understand what its like for a black MAN. I'm not saying Black women have it easy because they dont. All i'm saying is that maybe you need to understand how it's like to walk in the shoes of a Black man for just one day. We have to worry getting stopped by the cops just for walking down the damn street! Not to mention the fear everyone else has for us. Black women need to cut brothers some slack because nobody else is!

it's the victim mentality. have you noticed that their race is the only one to have so much conflict among other races? see, they always play the race card when they are the perpetrators, in turn, blaming the other races of shoving this "racist" practice directed toward them. however, blacks will not take the time to wonder why other races have so much contempt they do and will overlook the responsibility they should take by using the race card.
