I pick the colts because of Peytons' throwing attack, but watch out for the saints and Brees. Its going to be a good game and most likely a shootout.

Both teams have powerful offense and suspect defenses, but I'm going to have to go with the Colts. A few reasons...
They're the home team. First game after the superbowl and fans will be crazy. They will also have some sort of ring ceremony for winning the superbowl, and I think they're putting a banner up in the Stadium for the win.
Also, the Colts do a great job of drafting defensive players and keeping them on the roster until its their time - so even though they lost a lot of key defensive players, the guys they draft will do just fine. The colts had a bad defense last year during the regular season also.
Now don't ge me wrong - the Saints are good too. But they are as consistant as the Colts. They have been winning high-powered offensive games for years now, and th e Saints have only been good for the last year.
But the Saints have a shot, but I'm going with the Colts.

The real key to this game is going to be the Colts rush defense. If they can regain some of late last seasons form, they will win this one quite easily. If they struggle as some have prediticed, the Saints are going to be in this one with a good chance to chew time off the clock and keep the ball out of Mannings hands.

The Saints will win by a point, the Colts lost to many people on an already bad Defense. There will be plenty of Offense but the Saints will be able to run the ball and control the game.

The Colts will definitely win tonight! The reason is because the Saints defense is still very young and Peyton will have a field day with them. COLTS WILL REPEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because the Colts won the Super Bowl, so they get the honor of hosting the first football game of the season.
