Well, they all kind of had their own irritating personality quirks, but I found John Boy to be the most annoying, because of how damn whiny he always was, and the way he was always looking like he was about to cry, and also those two old-lady spinster sisters who lived nearby, even though they had the "recipe," they were really annoying how hung up they were on boyfriends they'd had like 70 years ago.

I am not that old to really remember the show but If I recall correctly John Boy was really annoying and that growth on his face made me ill.
