If you went to a job interview and told the interviewer that the job couldn't be done, would you expect to be hired? Then why vote for someone who does the same thing?

being for "limited government" is the stupidest oxi moron the repbulican morons have ever come up with.

the republican voters don't get it. There cant technicaly be a republican official. If they are for limited govornment- they would not paricipate and reduce governent.

government is either efficient or it's not...
they say it's not... and it is kind of odd...
but then again... I guess it makes perfect sense that they voted for Bush...
he made all their ideas about bloated government being horribly mismanaged more true than it ever has been before... it's like a self-fulfilling prophecy hahaha

I think you mean conservatives vote for people who say big government can't be the answer to all your problems. And it shouldn't be. The government should not be in all facets of my life...I can decide how to raise my family, how to live my life, etc.

It's not that it can't work, it is that it shouldn't work. Conservatives believe in a strictly limited Government. That's what the Republic was founded on, read the Constitution:
The Legislative Branch has 18 specific powers, no more.
The Executive Branch has 4 specific powers, no more.
The Judicial Branch has limited scope of power intepreting laws; not the Constitution.

They want any government agencies that don't provide services for the rich to be either eliminated or severely restricted. They seem to believe that people choose to be poor, and deserve to be punished for being unfortunate. Except for the military, they would love to spend 99.9% of the federal budget on that.

Wrong....conservatives want more independent living not government control. Liberals want the government to control their lives because they are dependent.
