My company does not celebrate Columbus Day, so I do not get the day off.
I know Columbus and the a lot of the old world exploited the natives they found here, but if I could get the holiday off each year, then I would gladly put three ships out in my yard on that day.

Columbus Day is actually Oct. 12, it is one of those holidays that was changed, to give workers a long holiday weekend.

Because he's a mass murderer responsible for the deaths of many Native Americans. Also, he is credited with that which he did not do.
He's a murderous racist prick. Why should he get a holiday?
