I was wearing my lust for life, the sweat beading on my skin, i wore it flush and pink.
I wore love and hate, but mostly i wore my bleeding heart on my sleeve. I wore an empty pulse beneath my breast.

Oh I'm sorry that was when i bared my heart....... I remember now, when i bared my soul i was waring a t-shirt and jeans. OH how so very comfortable i was!

I dreamed my soul was every glorious color expanding in every direction through every dimension. When I awoke I found myself digging frantically through the moist black soil. It was soon coating my flesh, clinging under my fingernails, I could feel it in my eyes, in my ears and mouth. I was crying because I could feel nothing. And tears just seemed so appropriate. When I had dug half way to China I found it. Bent and twisted, filthy from the dirt, blackened from the loss and the sin. I held it to me. I stopped crying. I haven't cried since.
